Maruti Suzuki India starts today the 7th edition of Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm in India. As one of the most challenging rallies in India, Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm spans the coast of Gujarat and interiors of Rajasthan this year. The rally lovers in India and abroad are extremely crazy about this rally being conducted in India every year. The rally will cover nearly 2060 km of area in Rajasthan and Gujarat where nearly 170 participants will take part.
The company course of rally will cover on road and off road terrains in both the states. The rally will start on 17th February afternoon after the flagoff from Shahpura located near Delhi- Jaipur highway. The first phase of the rally will cover semi dry rivers in Bikaner and will be quite challenging one. After the first phase is completed, the rally will proceed to Jaiselmer and thereafter to Kutch in Gujarat. The rally will spend two nights in tents in Adesar Camps and then proceed to Udaipur where the winners will be awarded in a prize distribution ceremony.
