Maruti has hiked prices of nearly all its models in India. It has increased prices of all its models by at least $353 owing to the rising inputs costs. Maruti along with all other major car makers in India had been contemplating this option for nearly two months now.

The hike ranges from Rs 1000 on its hatchbacks like Zen Estilo and Wagon R to Rs. 15,000 on Maruti Swift, diesel version. It has also withdrawn the special introductory offer on its new model Maruti Swift Dzire. Dzire has been introduced as entry level sedan in India earlier this year and had been a huge success ever since its launch. On the other hand, Maruti Grand Vitara escaped the price hike.
