Maruti Baleno launch on Monday

Maruti will be launching the Baleno on the 26th of October and this will be their global launch. The Baleno was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and it is ready to be launched in India in under two months. The Baleno is a premium hatchback that is priced above the Swift and will be competing with the Elite i20 and the Jazz.

The Baleno will be sold through the company’s Nexa Experience range of showrooms. The Baleno’s base model also gets dual airbags and ABS as a standard feature. This new hatchback will get daytime running LEDs, on the inside it will get touchscreen system with Apples CarPlay, reverse paring camera, keyless entry, push start and stop. The Baleno will be coming to India with a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine and a 1.3-litre multijet diesel engine. These are the same engines that power the Swift. The Baleno has better power delivery and repossess than the Swift as the premium hatchback is lighter than the Swift by 100 kilograms.

The Baleno is made on the new Suzuki’s fifth generation platform that makes it lighter, stronger and at the same time even safer. The Baleno is first being launched in India and it will soon be launched in other parts of the world too. The Baleno will be the second product that will be sold through the Nexa Experience range of dealerships. The 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine will be launched sometime in the future.
