Automaker Mahindra and Mahindra today said that they will increase prices of its models by up to three per cent from January 2018. This is due to the rising input costs.

Mahindra cars to cost three per cent more in the new year

There are frequent variations in the input costs including commodity prices and freight charges. Mahindra has still tried to minimise the impact on its customers by absorbing a huge part of these incremental costs and capping the increment in prices to three per cent. Updated variant-wise prices will be available at all Mahindra dealerships in the new year.

Many manufacturers including Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Skoda, Toyota, Tata Motors, Isuzu and Ford have already announced that they will hike prices of cars in early 2018. Likewise, we can expect more manufacturers to increase prices making cars more expensive to buy.
