Mahindra’s Scorpio has been strong player in the Indian SUV segment. Present for nearly 14 years in the country, the SUV has indeed been a popular choice among car buyers. As stated by sources, the company witnessed over 4,000 unit sales every month on an average until recently when other players have entered the Indian market. The company had also introduced a facelift model with automatic options, yet has not been able to match up with its yesteryear performance in terms of sales.
This time around, sources have reportedly spotted a camouflaged Scorpio trim which is believed to be the upcoming special edition variant. Based on what could be seen, the special edition Mahindra Scorpio shall feature dual tone body color complimented with new side decals, red painted front brake calipers, 5-spoke alloy wheel and silver colored alloy rails. The vehicle may continue to be offered with existing engine option, unless the company decides to offer a tweaked version. The price and more details shall be known in the coming days.
