Mahindra Scorpio emerged as the winner at the Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm 2010 in the Ndure category. Earlier the model had won accolades at Raid de Himalayas in the Adventure Trial SUV category. Raid de Himalayas is one of the toughest rallies in India and Rally de Sertoes is one of the toughest in the world where Mahindra Scorpio bagged number three position in the rally.
Mahindra is planning to launch Scorpio in the US market and is soon ready to announce it launch dates. Mahindra has also introduced the VLX model in India with six new additional features making it extremely competitive in the Indian market and far better than its earlier model.
The new Mahindra Scorpio VLX model comes with Speed Alert that buzzes when you cross the speed limit, Blue Vision bulbs in headlamps to relieve you from night driving stress, Blue tooth with 2-DIN radio enabling you to take calls on car speakers, Front Speakers with tweeters for better sound quality, twin-pod instrument cluster for better display and dual airbags as added safety feature.
