Mahindra had recently removed the two-door e2o from its official website and it has now said that the car has been discontinued from the Indian market. It has been replaced by the four-door e2oPlus that was recently launched in India.

Mahindra officially discontinues the e2o two-door version in India

The e2oPlus carries over the features from the e2o, while also offering additional benefits over the discontinued model. This includes better looks, more space, fast charging capability and a longer range. It makes sense for a prospective buyer to opt for a better model, which continues to offer benefits like zero emissions, ease of driving, low running costs and home charging.

The e2oPlus now becomes the replacement for the e2o, which in turn was the successor to the Reva electric car. At present, the carmaker's portfolio of electric vehicles includes the e2oPlus, the eVerito and the eSupro. The company might however continue to export the e2o’s two-door version to the UK.
