Mahindra Quanto facelift has been spotted on test and this time it has been spotted with the AMT (automated manual transmission). Recently, we had stated that Mahindra is looking at launching the Quanto sometime by mid-2016 and it seems that the company’s plans are in place for the same.
The Quanto facelift will get a new front with daytime running LEDs, a bonnet scoop and LED tail lamps. The interiors too will get an update with a new touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, reverse parking sensors, and a major design change for the interiors too. The Quanto will be priced more than the TUV300 and it will be a lot more muscular and stylish in looks.
The images show that the Quanto still retains the same interiors, but this is likely to be changed. There will be some more features added to this SUV. Mahindra has been testing the new Quanto facelift and this new compact SUV will be powered by a engine that will be producing about 100bhp of power. It won’t be getting the mHawk80 engine. This new engine will be a lot more powerful and fuel-efficient too. Mahindra will be sharing this engine with Ssangyong.
