The Mahindra Mojo was available only in four cities in India and now has been launched in 15 more cities. Its introduction in new cities is going on in a phased manner.
Apart from Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bangalore, the Mahindra Mojo will now be available in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Nagpur, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. This number of Tier-II cities will grow as Mahindra will increase the production of the motorcycle at their Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh.
The Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 295cc liquid cooled, four-stroke engine that churns out 26bhp of power and 30Nm of torque. The motorcycle features Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres and is equipped with a big 21 litre fuel tank to cater to the touring needs. The sales of the Mojo in the Indian market have been steady for a while. However, now that it has been introduced in more cities, Mahindra might be able to attract more customers increasing the sales of their flagship model.
