Mahindra Renault launched a new version of its no-frills entry level sedan, Logan on Wednesaday, July 23, as Logan Edge. Initial model of Logan had not spelt success for the company and it has plans to tap the international market with its model. "May be next quarter itself we'll talk about it," says Nalin Mehta, Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra Renault, on the exports plan. "We are already doing some pilots in some countries." The company plans to start its operations with India's neighbouring countries and some countries in Africa. The company shall utilise the existing dealerships for both the companies in different countries to market its product.

The new version of Logan shall be available as both petrol and diesel variant and shall be priced between Rs. 5 lakh to 7 lakh. The engine capacities for both the versions would range between 1.4 litre to 1.6 litre. A CNG version of the model may also be available.
The new Logan Edge has been developed based on extensive customer feedback and Company's endeavour to offer the best model to its customers. The new model comes with additional features like reverse parking sensors and better fuel efficiency.
