As Mahindra’s much awaited KUV100 gears up for launch on 15th January, 2016, sources have already revealed variant-wise details on the upcoming model. KUV100 car would be offered in four trims namely K2, K4, K6 and K8. Sources have further revealed that the company hall only offer dual airbags as standard in K8 model. Interested customers can also expect seven colour options to choose from. Models with optional dual front airbags shall carry ‘+’ suffix. The petrol version gets a 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine that generates about 81bhp of power and 114Nm of torque. While the diesel generates about 1.2 -litre mFalcon D75 turbocharged diesel engine that generates about 76bhp of power and 190Nm of torque.
While all the variants would be offered with same engine specs, it would vary in terms of features. The K2 gets features like Rear spoilers, front arm rest, electric power steering with tilt function, body coloured bumpers, Gear indicator in instrument cluster, front arm rests, Illuminated key hole, ABS and EBD, LED turn indicators, engine immobilizer and LED turn indicators. The KUV100 K4 gets Body coloured door handles, Wheel arch cladding, Body coloured door mirrors, Wheel caps, Mud flaps, Central locking, Four power windows, Day/night interior rear view mirror, Foldable rear seats, Rear spoiler, Body coloured bumpers, Electronic Power Steering with Tilt function, AC & heater, Front armrest, Gear indicator in instrument cluster, Illuminated key hole, LED turn indicators, ABS & EBD and Engine immobilizer.
The KUV100 K6 on the oter hand offers Chrome front grille, Blacked-out B-pillar, Roof-mounted antenna, Roof rails, Door side cladding, Driver-seat height adjustment, Rear armrest, Foldable rear seats, Four power windows, Central locking, Day/night interior rear view mirror, Body coloured bumpers, Rear spoiler, Electronic Power Steering with Tilt function, AC & heater, Front armrest, Gear indicator in instrument cluster, Illuminated key hole, LED turn indicators, ABS & EBD, Engine immobilizer, Keyless entry, Power door mirrors, Sunglass holder, Cooled glovebox, Follow-me home headlamps, Lead me to Vehicle lamps, Infotainment system with 4 speakers & 2 tweeters, Two drive mode: Power and Eco, Body coloured door handles, Body coloured door mirrors, Wheel arch cladding, Mud flaps and Wheel caps.
