The Mahindra KUV100 is a relatively young vehicle in the Indian market but it looks like Mahindra is already aiming to facelift the vehicle to boost numbers. In this regard, a test vehicle of the facelifted model has been spotted doing the rounds.

The spotted vehicle carries a heavy camouflage but we can see that the cosmetics of the Mahindra KUV100 are expected to be reworked. In the front, the hatchback is expected to carry a vertically slatted grille, styled to follow the Mahindra’s family design. The side profile is expected to carry a similar silhouette. However, we can expect new styling lines as a part of the midlife update.

The interior is expected to receive a certain lift with tweaks in the design. However, the power source won’t be seeing any changes. The new car will be powered by the same 1.2-litre mFalcon petrol and diesel engines. The former produces 82bhp and the latter produces 77bhp. Both the engines will be mated to a five speed gearbox.

It is highly anticipated that the KUV100 will unveil itself in the coming festive season and would go on sale soon after the manufacturers have taken off the wraps. After its launch, the car will continue to compete against the Datsun Go, Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki Celerio.
