Mahindra KUV100 attracts two months waiting period

The KUV100 micro SUV from Mahindra has emerged as a strong potential in premium hatchback segment. Impressive style, pricing and features has made it a hot favorite among new car buyers in the country. Sources have revealed that the waiting period for the vehicle which was about two weeks has now soared to about two months in some cities.

Mahindra offers around seven variants of KUV100 in India namely - K2, K2+, K4, K4+,K6, K6+ and top-end K8. In terms of engine configurations, the petrol trim is powered by 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 engine that generates about 82bhp of power, while the diesel trim comes with a 1.2-litre D75 engine that generates about 75bhp of power. The petrol claims to return about 18.15km/l while diesel claims to offer 25.32km/l.

Depending on the variant, the KUV100 offers features like the ABS with EBD, Engine immobilizer, flat floor with underfloor storage, remote keyless entry, Daytime running lights, micro hybrid technology, ISOFIX child seat mount, door puddle lamps, rear and front fog lamps, steering mounted controls and much more. The Mahindra KUV100 is offered at a starting price tag of Rs 4, 42,000 for petrol while the top-end diesel cost about Rs 6, 76,000.
