Mahindra is looking at upgrading its existing Genio brand (commercial vehicle) with a new look, and this will even trickle down to the entire Ingenio platform family as well. The Mahindra brand is looking at enhancing its the new Genio with the new front grille, that will be carried forward on the new Quanto facelift too.
The Mahindra Genio is a pick-up truck and it shares the 2.5-litre diesel engine. Mahindra is looking at reducing the weight of its new-generation products, making it lighter, quicker, fuel-efficient and at the same even reducing the emissions it produces. The Mahindra Genio and the Quanto facelift are first to get these updates and then the Mahindra Xylo will also get a titivated version as well.
The Bolero pick-up too is due to get a facelift as Mahindra brand is looking at enhancing its market share and adding more variants too. Mahindra could be adding more fuel-efficient and downsized engines to its CV portfolio as well. The new Genio is due to be launched sometime next year. This financial year the Mahindra will be looking at getting the S101 and the Verito electric in its fleet. It has already launched the XUV500 facelift, Scorpio automatic, TUV300 in its portfolio and the new additions will be the S101 and the Verito electric.
