      The 110cc segment often gets overshadowed by 150cc bikes in the market. It has also been a popular myth that 100cc – 150cc bikes do not come with interesting features. To break the jinx, Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched the new Centuro Rockstar at an attractive price tag of Rs. 44,558 (ex-showroom, Pune). Ranking among the five launches slated this year, this bike is expected to meet the daily demands of the modern male. The Centuro Rockstar model is stated to be based as an entry-level make of the Centuro, that is more affordable in the Indian market as compared to the earlier version. Some class apart features have been done away with, but the bike still gets the a flip key though, however remote functions or LED torch lamp have been excluded.

      Mahindra Centuro Rockstar shall be available across the states of Gujarat, Haryana and Rajasthan and is expected to reach more states sooner. The more affordable price tag this time around may likely get the motorcycle to feature in the list of top-selling models. The ultramodern features shall be like a cake topping for the buyer. The earlier version of Mahindra Centuro had been known for known for its high-end features like guide me lamps, anti-theft alarm, remote-flip key, digital dashboard and find me lamps.

      The new Mahindra Centuro Rockstar will be powered by the existing 106.7 cc single cylinder air-cooled MCi-5 4 stroke engine that generates a maximum power of about 8.38 bhp at around 7500 rpm and 8.5 Nm at the rate of 5500 rpm. The engine shall be mated to 4-speed gearbox. The bike is available in self-start option as well as general kick start option. The exterior of this models get fresh decals, however, the stylish engine cowls have been removed. The tail is fitted with LED lamps, as well and 5-step adjustable rear shocks strengthened with coil over spring make the bike comfortable for the challenging roads. A 130 mm brake drum at the centre takes care of effortless control of the Rockstar, which runs on a 2.75-18 inch front wheel and a 3.00-18 inch rear wheel. Apart from these, the remaining parameters remain similar, so do the other exterior machinery. LED pilot lamps have been installed and the Rockstar has telescopic front forks and hydraulic dampers.
