Mahindra has launched the special edition of Bolero MUV packed with an array of additional features. Only 500 units of Bolero Special Edition are available for sale at Mahindra dealerships. Among the extra features that are proffered in the special Edition Bolero includes a stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity; cabin gets more premium with leather wrapped seats. On the outside, new body decals and blue vision head lamps can be seen. The vehicle will be available in pearl white shade only. Among the safety features, anti-lock-braking system is also being offered on the rear wheels.
Powering the vehicle is the 2.5 litre m2DiCR diesel engine that generates a maximum power output of 63 PS at 3,200 RPM along with a peak torque of 195 Nm at 2,200 RPM. Diesel motor is synchronized to a five speed manual transmission.
Mahindra is a renowned UV maker in India with a string of SUVs and MPVs in its stable. A few days ago, Mahindra introduced new colour options to its popular SUV, XUV 500. An AT version of the SUV is also in the making which could be launched in India by mid 2015. The company is also developing a line of new compact SUVs and MPVs for the domestic market which will be launched in coming time.
