The Mahindra Bolero's sales were dying over the couple of months, but thankfully September sales reports have some good news for the brand. The vehicle is back as the brand's best-seller as the sales have increased putting it on top in Mahindra's sales figures list.

Bolero leads the way in Mahindra September sales leap

Mahindra sold 5,744 units of the Bolero in September 2016, as against 4,841 units sold in August this year. This shows an 18 per cent month-on-month growth and 2.8 per cent year-on-year sales increase for the brand. Overall sales of Mahindra's passenger vehicles last month has also increased by five per cent to 20,537 units. This includes the Bolero, Scorpio, XUV500, Verito and Xylo. And, with Mahindra selling 46,130 units in all last month, the manufacturer's sales rose by eight per cent. Only 42,848 units were sold in the same month last year.

The Mahindra Bolero was the brand's most selling vehicle till May this year, when it was replaced by the KUV100. Now the Bolero brand has come back strong and the growth in sales figures have put it on top in Mahindra's sales figures list. The sales hike can be attributed to the sub-four metre Bolero launched recently. The mild refresh and most importantly - the drop in price, has helped the car's sales gain momentum again.
