The country’s leading utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has always been happy with its Bolero sales in the country. Being present in the Indian market for quite a while now, the Bolero has been a popular name in the utility vehicle segment. Our team has spotted and clicked the test mule images of what appears to be the Bolero facelift. Though mechanically we expect it to be powered by its current engine options, the facelift will get fresh cosmetic upgrades.

Going by the images, the Bolero facelift is expected to get a smaller tailgate handle, amber coloured tail lamps and mildly tweaked bumper design. The front is not expected to get major upgrades and might be mildly tweaked for freshness. Details about the interior could not be immediately known , but we anticipate that the upcoming model will get new feature upgrades and a re-finished dashboard. The inside will also sport new upholstery and offer improved spacing than its predecessors.

As mechanically there are no expected changes, the new Mahindra Bolero will continue being powered by a 2523cc mHawk m2DiCR engine which generates 63bhp of power. The fairly powered engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission returns a decent fuel efficiency figure of 15.96kmpl. Earlier this year, few reports indicated a possibility of Mahindra introducing a compact Bolero, this however seems unlikely as Mahindra had recently launched the TUV300 and NuvoSport in the compact SUV segment. Additional details about the car, if any, will be known at a later date.
