The all new 2013 Honda Civic made its debut on November 29, at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show with a host of changes in the interior and exterior design upgrades, apart from enhanced dynamics and other standard features.
John Mendel, American Honda executive vice president of Sales said, "Our industry has never been more competitive or fast changing, and a significant refresh of Civic, America's best-selling compact car, just one model year after its debut as an all-new model shows true speed to market." He further added, "Our corporate direction is to provide our customers with great products with speed, affordability and low CO2 emissions. There is no better example of this direction than today's introduction of the 2013 Honda Civic."
The 2013 Honda Civic Sedan, which is America's best-selling compact car and will celebrate its 40th anniversary there, went on sale on November 29 with a large number of changes to further increase its market leadership. Apart from maintaining the efficiency and value that helped Civic become an automotive icon, the 2013 Honda Sedan has been launched with a large number of front and rear exterior styling. The sedan has received extensive interior upgrades as well, which include more luxurious finishes and a good number of standard equipment.
The all new 2013 Honda Civic is also fitted with enhanced features like Bluetooth, HandsFreeLink, rear view camera, Audio, colour i-MID display, USB/iPod connectivity, steering wheel audio controls, Pandora Interface, external temperature gauge and many more. The 2013 Honda Civic is available for sale in the US with a starting price of $18,165.
With the 2013 Honda Civic hitting roads in the US, car enthusiasts in India are hoping that this new updated sedan may be launched in the country too. However, no official statement has so far been made by the company officials as yet and it looks that the company is in no mood to launch the 2013 Honda Civic in the country. The production of the current generation Honda Civic has already been discontinued in India owing to sluggish demand. However, those that were manufactured earlier are still available for sale.
