The Indian arm of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., an iconic Italian super sports car maker, is going to introduce its Aventador Roadster to domestic audience on January 25, 2013. The stunning two-seater 'Raging Bull' was unveiled at the 2012 Los Angeles auto salon, wherein it thrilled the supercar aficionados across the world with its ravishing design and power.

The upcoming Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster features a two-piece removable roof, which is crafted entirely from carbon fibre using several modern technologies, such as RTM and Forged Composite. The state-of-the-art Aventador Roadster's roof ensures optimum aerodynamics and maximum aesthetic performance, although each part is extremely lightweight. Further, each of the two roof parts of LP 700-4 weigh less than 6 kg.

Coming to under-the-hood specifications of Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, the super sports car will come fitted with a monster of a 6.5 litre V12 petrol powertrain, which is expected to generate a maximum power and torque equations of around 690 bhp and 690 Nm, respectively. The LP 700-4 pumps out a mind numbing acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 350 kmph. Evidently, the Aventador Roadster is the most powerful and fastest Lamborghini ever built, and boasts off an astonishing power-to-weight ratio of 1:2.34. The 6.5 litre V12 motor comes mated with an ISR seven speed transmission system, along with push-rod suspension, which makes the Aventador Roadster a super sports car with no direct competition, at the moment.

At present, the Lamborghini Aventador is offered to domestic sports car enthusiasts at a price tag close to Rs. 3.7 crore in the country. Accordingly, industry experts believe that upcoming Aventador Roadster will be pitched at a slightly higher pricing than its coupe version in the Indian auto market.
