The Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder has been launched in India at a price of Rs 3.45 crore (All-India ex-showroom). This new model is a droptop version of the Huracan RWD Coupe and comes loaded with all the features from its sibling.
This Huracan RWD Spyder comes powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine like the regular Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 RWD. This engine has a humongous power output of 580bhp and 540Nm of torque. While it comes mated to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox and sends power to the rear wheels only, the latter come with a rear mechanical self-locking differential. The car can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 319kmph.
Cosmetically, the Huracan RWD Spyder is the same as the regular hard top model albeit for the retractable top. This soft top can be operated at speeds of up to 50kmph and opens and closes in just 17 seconds. The styling, design and features are same as the coupe counterpart of this model.
This Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder is the fifth Huracan offering in India. The other exciting cars from the Italian manufacturer's Indian line-up are the LP610-4 all-wheel drive (AWD) coupe, LP580-2 rear-wheel drive (RWD) coupe, the AWD Spyder convertible and the Avio. The Huracan RWD Spyder has been specially designed for enthusiasts who prefer the open-top variant and also want the two-wheel drive performance of the supercar. It competes with the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and the Ferrari California T in the Indian market.
