Owning a sports car can be fun but things can also get ugly when such high performing machines go out of control. One such unfortunate incident took place in China and it involved none other than a Lamborghini Gallardo, which ended up burning itself to the ground. According to a report by Car News China, a white coloured Lamborghini Gallardo was involved in a terrible accident that saw almost nothing left of the vehicle.
Sources claim that due to technical snag inside the engine bay, the car caught fire and it got uncontrollable. The fire went on to cover the entire car, thereby decimating it completely. To add further to the grief of the owner, it was one of the last units of the discontinued model manufactured by the Italian firm.
There was one silver lining in this incident, which took place in the Chinese city of Shenyang. Luckily, the driver, who incidentally was not the actual owner, did manage to save his life and escaped before things got fatal. It was a horrible site for anyone but particularly for a sports car aficionado. Also, this is not an isolated incident as a similar incident happened with a Ferrari model some time back.
