Automobili Lamborghini, the iconic and world renowned Italian super sports car maker, has pulled the covers off its new Veneno, claimed to be a street-legal supercar at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Lamborghini claims that the Veneno design is based in its entirety on maximising the aerodynamic efficiency of the super sports car. The super sport car's front design is laid out so as to optimise the down-force and airflow. It flaunts the basic Lamborghini DNA and also reminds one of the super sports prototype racing cars. The Veneno also shares elder sibling Aventador's scissor doors. The super car's rear end is also designed with sophisticated aerodynamics that ensures optimum airflow for cooling the V12 and supplying intake air. The Lamborghini Veneno shares the platform with its elder sibling Aventador and is powered with the same 6.5 litre V12 powertrain. Interestingly, Veneno's V12 motor develops a 50 bhp more output power at 750 bhp, than the Aventador.

The Lamborghini Veneno displayed at the '13 Geneva auto salon is the company's prototype development car and flaunts red, green and white accents on its flanks, as a tribute to the Italian national flag. Further, the three yet-to-e sold Veneno models will possess highlights in one of the Italian flag colours.
