The BMW K1600 GT seems the last motorbike to act as the proficient host for a custom motorcycle. Why? It is because this bike is a luxury tourer, capable enough to compete with the likes of Triumph Trophy SE, Honda GoldWing and the Yamaha FJR1300A. However, all this did not shackle the Spanish blokes at the Valtoron workshop from developing and regenerating this custom motorcycle basically stripped down and in all terms based on the BMW K1600 GT. They present to all: the Valtoron La Bulla.
Designed by sculptor and artist Raphael Muyor, the La Bulla, or the Bull, was first engineered by plastering clay on the host motorcycle directly without the use of any additional props. Once the consumers were blown away by the end design, the Delgado brothers entered the scene. From the Valtoron workshop, they used recycled aluminum for casting the body panels, which were later welded on to its sleek monocoque chassis. The front was groomed with a Harley-Davidson Day maker headlamp, and the stock alloy wheels were restyled and properly replaced with BST carbon wheels.
Although the exterior may seem different, but the heart of the La Bulla has not changed and still has its mushy, highly decorated and technologically advanced engine. This 1,649 cc inline six-cylinder engine puts out 158 bhp and 17 Nm of torque. The engine respires from a six-port Hattech exhaust system that is custom made. A report on Return Of The Cafe Racers.
says that the master of this custom motorbike took a road trip through France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Germany. It surely says something about the La Bulla’s reliability.The motorcycle though has been designed as a recast of the BMW K1600 GT but does not fall short to exude its originality and marvelous performance. It is a new chapter in the field of custom motorcycles.
