      KTM RC 390 and RC 200 makes a Grand Entry in the Power Bike Segment on Launch Day

      KTM, the renowned Austrian company has now launched two of its premium bikes, KTM RC 200 and KTM RC 390. The launch event is organised on the 9th of September at 11:45 am in the morning. A video is also released, which showcased the launch of these models as fans go into frenzy. They have been waiting for a long time for these two bikes. These stylish models were initially unveiled at the International Motorcycle Exhibition. The Austrian brand has enjoyed a tremendous success and glory with the Duke 390 and Duke 200. The RC 390 and RC 200 are the fully faired versions of these two models and it is expected that the RC bikes will be as popular as their Duke versions. The speculations and images were long available on the internet, thank to spy shots and leaked pictures and the fans were eagerly waiting for its launch.

      As expected, the RC 200 is powered by a 200 cc, four stroke, liquid cooled engine, which has a net output of 25 bhp. It reaches a maximum torque of 19.2 Nm, which is an impressive figure in this segment. For the other model, it is powered by a 375 cc mono cylinder, liquid cooled engine and churns out 45 bhp of power. The torque output is of 35 Nm, so you can expect the amount of twisting force this bike generates. The power is fed to the wheels with the help of a supercool six-speed gearbox in both RC 200 as well as RC 390.

      It is expected that both the KTM RC 200 and RC 390 will be launched with daytime running lamps. Some innovations are expected on the pillion seats as well as the rear view mirrors. The pricing has not been released officially by the brand. However, it is expected that RC 200 will be kept around the margin of 2 lakhs INR off-road in Delhi. The RC 390 will be priced around 50 thousand bucks more. Pre-booking has already opened for a mere sum of 5000 INR at the Bajaj showrooms. The KTM duo has already set the market on fire with their impressive styling and power-packed specifications. A stiff rivalry is expected in the market as RC 200 will compete against the likes of Hero Karizma ZMR and Yamaha R15 Version 2.0. The RC 390 is pitted against heavier models like Ninja 300, Yamaha R25 and Honda CBR 300R.
