KTM has been riding high on the success of its models that have already been launched in the Indian market. In this context, the KTM bikes have disappeared from the showrooms super-fast. Obviously, in a nation like India, which is just waking up to the dawn of super bikes, it is natural that brands like KTM will grab a foothold in no time. The manufacturer is known for its super performing, stylishly featured and apt for racing bikes. Additionally, the sparkling colours and the flamboyant looks are some of the things that have been a crowd puller, too. KTM is definitely not stopping at the release of the RC 390 and 200, which is scheduled to happen in the later part of the year. It is getting beyond that and rightly so, in a country where racing is etched in the veins.

After introducing the world to the KTM 1190 Adventure, which is slated for a release next year, the two-wheeler brand, has recently shown to the world, the new 1290 Super Adventure. There has been not much of information about the engine. However, it is expected that the bike will retain a major part of the engine used in Super Duke R. It is expected that the 180 bhp output might be tweaked a bit to give the bike a better torque, especially at lower revolutions. Definitely one thing is certain; that the 1290 Super Adventure has more power and torque in store for the riders than would be generally used. This might not go down well with peaceful riders but for the racers, this is a fact that would instantly give that adrenaline rush.

KTM has developed the structure a bit, just to make the bike suitable for all kinds of roads. The replenished front cowl and huge air vents are designed in such a way to accommodate the restructured engine. Spoked wheels have been employed just to make sure that the durability is increased on all roads. He vital details have not been officially received from the brand, though it is expected that high-end features will be incorporated on it. ABS, traction control and motorcycle stability control might just get a nod to this model considering its high power output. It seems that the wait is not quite long and there are reports that the bike will hit the market sometime around early next year.
