Kia Motors has begun accepting bookings for the Seltos beginning today. The Kia Seltos can be booked for a token amount of Rs 25,000 via authorised dealerships as well as the company’s official website. Unveiled last month, the new Seltos will be launched in India on 22 August. The Kia Seltos will be available in eight monotone colours and five dual tone colours. The model will be offered in two body styles including Tech Line and GT Line.

The Kia Seltos will be available with three engine options. The 1.5-litre petrol motor will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission and a CVT unit. The 1.5-litre diesel motor will be available with a six speed manual transmission and a six speed automatic transmission. Also on offer will be a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that will be paired exclusively to a seven-speed DCT unit.

On the outside, the Kia Seltos features crown-jewel LED headlamps, LED DRLs, ice-cube LED fog lamps, signature tiger nose grille, red brake calipers, red accents on the side cladding and 17 inch alloy wheels. Safety features on the model include TPMS, ABS, ESC, BAS, VSM, HAC, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors and disc brakes on all four corners.

The interiors of the upcoming Kia Seltos will come equipped with features such as an eight-inch HUD, 400 watt eight speaker Bose music system, seven-inch coloured MID, sun shade curtains, power adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, ambient mood lighting, leatherette seats and a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation and UVO connectivity. The Kia Seltos is expected to be priced between Rs 11-17 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the model will rival the MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Renault Duster and the Hyundai Creta.
