Kawasaki India brings good news for its customers in the country. The renowned two-wheeler has launched a new colour for its Z800 model. The bike was initially launched with the all black green graphics. However, the bike has not got a fresh colour. It will be available in candy green and blank paint scheme from now onwards. The new model with the bright green and black paint scheme has already the Wakdewadi showroom of Kawasaki in Pune in Maharashtra.

The new colour scheme viz. the green and black paint texture is available globally and is one of the most attractive tints for this bike. The green colour adorns the rear seat, side panels, engine belly pan, fuel tank and the fairing of the bike. With the green colour in highlight as compared to the black, the new Z800 looks more attractive than the current version on the road. However, these cosmetic changes are the only things that have been introduced in the new variant. All technical aspects and other features have been retained. As a result, the Z800 model has the same four-stroke, liquid-cooled 806 cc engine. It is capable of generating 113 bhp of power with an approximate torque output of 83 Nm. The mill sends power to the wheel via a six-speed transmission.

Currently, the Z800 model is facing a strong competition from the triumph Street Triple. Had the Triumph not launched its motorcycles in India, Kawasaki would have had an easy go in the market. However, in these conditions, the brand is trying to boost its sales strategy to drown the stiff competition being offered by the British manufacturer. In this aspect, the other colours for Z800 – orange and white, might also make a breakthrough in the country sometime in the long run.
