A while ago the Versys from Kawasaki had been imported in India for homologation purpose, thereby hinting on a possible launch sometime soon. As per fresh updates from sources, the bikemaker may launch the new trim sometime by December this year. The bike shares some resemblance to its older sibling, the Versys 1000. To differentiate it from the other, the bike gets raised handlebars, height-adjustable windshield and also reach-adjustable handlebars.

The company may offer the bike in only green and black colour option in India, while the white may not be offered. Kawasaki has not revealed the official pricing for now, it is expected to be priced around Rs 5 Lakh.
