Kawasaki Ninja H2R had created a lot of hullabaloo in the segment of performance motorcycles, at the time of its launch. This bike was unveiled at the INTERMOT event and it came powered with a supercharged engine, which blurted out 300 PS power. It was followed by a similar designed motorbike, with equally beautiful looks, but adjusted for the urban streets. Right from the time it has been launched at EICMA in Milan, the motorcycle has attracted a lot of attention from global enthusiasts.

Just like other countries, many people in India were looking forward to this bike and waiting eagerly for its arrival in India. The brand has now announced that finally the bike is arriving in India with a price tag of 32.8 lakhs INR. Bookings for this superbike have already started at the rate of 10 lakhs INR. Till now, it has been reported that three units have already been booked. The wait has now reduced to a matter of days rather than months.

This supercharged bike is powered by a 998 cc in-line, four-cylinder mill, which has been designed in such a way to house the powerhouse. Nevertheless, the bike has been given a compact as well as lightweight design to go easy on customers. There are some trivial differences in the engine, the major being in the exhaust and intake system. Apparently, the 200 PS supercharged mill of Ninja H2 is almost the same as that of H2R, which generates 300 PS.

With great power comes great responsibility and undoubtedly, Ninja H2 has been provided with advanced electronics safety equipment. These aspects work behind the scenes continuously to provide additional support for riders. Even most of these advanced mechanisms can be customised according to the personal choice of the rider. The Ninja H2’s intense acceleration and the high-speed potential are some of the features, which can be enjoyed only with the electric assistance. The high performance engine was designed to give all this sans the electric uplift, but the same has been provided just as an assurance to the rider. Apart from these features, some other safety modules, which make it a great purchase, are Kawasaki Traction Control (KTC), Kawasaki Launch Cool Control Mode (KLCM) and Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System (KIBS).
