John Abraham, the popular Indian actor and youth icon, seems to be another celebrity who is also the admirer of German automobile marque Audi, as he gifted a brand new Audi Q3 as a birthday present to his sister-in-law Anca.
Expressing views on act of affection towards his sister-in-law and the Audi brand, John Abraham said, “My association with Audi goes back a few years. I am a proud owner of an Audi Q7, which is a powerful and sporty SUV. I wanted my sister-in-law, Anca Abraham to experience the same driving pleasure in a compact form and therefore chose the Audi Q3 as a birthday present for her. Incidentally, I starred in the music video “Start Young’ featuring Audi Q3 and my love for this SUV began when I got a taste of its driving dynamics while shooting for the video.”
John being a huge fan of the Audi brand could not have chosen a better gift than the Sports utility Vehicle (SUV) Q3 for his brother Alan's wife Anca Abraham. Reportedly, it was none other than Michael Perschke, Head of the Indian arm of Audi, who presided over the special ceremony and presented John with the keys of Q3, who in turn handed them to Anca.
The Q3 SUV is one of the most sought after Audi products in the country and is considered as one of the most beautiful SUVs to mark their presence on Indian roads. The Q3 comes assimilated with a 2.0 litre Tdi Quattro diesel power-mill that effortlessly delivers a whopping power of 175 bhp and a mammoth torque of 380 Nm. The drive train features the S-tronic transmission system developed by Audi, besides the much fawned upon All Wheel Drive (AWD System). At present, the German auto maker retails the Q3 SUV in the Indian market at a price bracket between Rs. 26 lacs and Rs. 32 lacs.
