Tata Motors intends to bring its most luxurious brands to India this month. Jaguar and Land Rover are all set to enter the Indian market by end of June. Most of the models of Jaguar and Land Rover have been tweaked to suit the Indian driving conditions. The company is geared up to launch them on 28th of this month and will also set up exclusive showrooms in smaller towns as well. This is a part of India-specific strategy of the company to market its cars in the Indian auto market.

Tata Motors will launch Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and LR Discovery 3 from the Land Rover range in India. However, all those Indian buyers anticipating the launch of Freelander will have to wait till October-September 2009. Tata Motors and JLR are still making necessary changes in the model suited for the Indian market. Amongst the Jaguar portfolio, the models to hit the Indian roads are - XK, XKR, coupe and convertible, the XF 5 litre and XFR.

All the models will be imported as completely built units and fall in the price range starting from Rs. 35 lakh going up to Rs. 90 lakh. Tata Motors Premium Car Division will cater to the sales and service of these cars in India.
