A limited edition range of Jeep vehicles has just being introduced in the UK to celebrate the legendary brand’s 75th Anniversary. These limited edition models feature exclusive branding, a higher level of standard equipment and unique green paint finishes among other colour choices.

Jeep has announced that it will make a total of 8,000 limited edition cars for Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Celebratory editions of Jeep’s popular Renegade and Cherokee models will be the first models to arrive in the UK, with the Grand Cherokee, and the Wrangler following later in the year.

All 75th anniversary models are distinguished by a new livery, a 75th anniversary badge, low gloss bronze wheels, bronze and orange exterior inserts.

The limited-edition Renegade comes with either a 1.4-litre turbo 170bhp engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission or a 2-litre MultiJet 140bhp engine with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Cherokee, on the other hand, is powered by a 2.2-litre 200bhp turbo diesel engine.

Following quite a few delays, Jeep finally arrived in the Indian market earlier this year at the 2016 Auto Expo. The iconic American SUV maker, in fact, unveiled the Wrangler, the Grand Cherokee and its high-performance version called the Grand Cherokee SRT at the Auto Expo. The brand has invested around $280 million in its manufacturing joint venture, Fiat India Pvt Ltd, with Tata Motors. This investment in Fiat’s Ranjangaon facility in Pune will allow Jeep to roll out an all-new model by 2017.
