Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. has launched the new model year of its flagship saloon, the Jaguar XJ in India. The price of this saloon starts at INR 98.03 lakhs (ex-showroom, pre-octroi in Mumbai). The XJ is offered with three engine options at the moment. One is a portfolio variant on the petrol and diesel engine, while the diesel even has a premium luxury variant, which is the more affordable one and is the entry-level variant to the XJ trim.

The New Jaguar XJ 2.0-litre Petrol Portfolio variant costs Rs 99.23 lakhs, while the Jaguar XJ 3.0L Diesel Premium Luxury is priced at Rs 98.03 lakhs and the Jaguar XJ 3.0L Diesel Portfolio for Rs 105.42 lakhs (all prices are ex-showroom, pre-octroi in Mumbai).
The New Jaguar XJ offers a choice of 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 237bhp of power and 296bhp 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine. The company claims that the new uprated Jaguar 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine offers improved performance, capable of 0-100 km/hr in 6.2 seconds with 700Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine achieves 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds due to its 340Nm of torque.
