Following record sales in January 2017 (20 per cent up compared to Jan 2016), Jaguar has rolled out a host of updates for most of its car line-up.

Jaguar updates most of its model range for 2017

The British carmaker has updated the F-Pace, the XE and the XF with new Ingenium engine options and features. Starting with the engines, all three cars now get a pair of new four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engines alongside a high-output 240bhp diesel power-plant. In addition, the F-Pace benefits from a new E-Performance diesel derivative.

The new 200bhp (available with XE and XF) and 250bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine-powered models wear 20t and 25t badge respectively. The diesel range is highlighted by a 240bhp, 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin turbo Ingenium diesel. This high output unit makes 500Nm of torque.

The XE and XF now get customised driving modes as standard. Safety features including Forward Traffic Detection and Forward Vehicle Guidance have been added to the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The XE also gets a 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with navigation.
We expect some of these updates to reflect on India-spec models in the future. Stay tuned for official announcement on the same.
