Jaguar Land Rover India announces GST prices for their vehicles

Jaguar Land Rover has revised the prices of all vehicles in India beginning from today. The prices have been changed due to implementation of GST, which was scheduled to start on July 1, 2017.

Some vehicles have become significantly cheaper now, while some cars have become a little expensive. For example, most SUVs now cost less. However, the XJ now costs more. The XJL's ex-showroom price was Rs 96.78 lakhs pre-GST, but the XJ now costs Rs 97.39 lakhs. Also, the F-Pace AWD Pure trim's price has been revised from Rs 64.53 lakhs to Rs 67.37 lakhs. It should be noted that eventually the overall percentage change in on-road prices of all vehicles cars will vary from state to state as well.

Coming to the entry-level XE sedan from the Jaguar range, it now starts at Rs 34.64 lakhs. Then, this is followed by the XF (Rs 44.89 lakhs), F-Pace (Rs 67.37 lakhs) and XJ (Rs 97.39 lakhs). All of these entry-level prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices in India. On the other hand, the Land Rover range starts with the Discovery Sport, now priced at Rs 40.04 lakhs. Beginning from today, the Range Rover Evoque will cost Rs 42.37 lakhs, the Range Rover Sport is priced at Rs 89.44 lakhs and the Range Rover retails at a starting price of Rs 1.58 crore.
