It has been over a year since Jaguar Land Rover revealed its plans to introduce a variety of hybrid models across its range over the next few years. Its first car is expected to be the J-Pace, which has now been spotted testing in Europe.
The J-Pace is a preview of what to expect from the automaker in the future. The pictures reveal a design philosophy similar to that of the Jaguar F-Pace but with a few bulges on the bonnet and some sporty alloy wheels. The camouflage only covers the lower section of the vehicle indicating that there are likely to be changes to the overall design.
Jaguar is expected to add more crossovers to its lineup over the next few years both above and below the F-Pace. This version, which we believe is the mild hybrid is expected to arrive below the F-Pace. Last year it revealed plans for mild hybrids, plugin hybrids as well as a full electric vehicle.
