The newly upgraded D-max pick-up from Isuzu has just been unveiled in Thailand. Apart from fresh cosmetic upgrades, the vehicle also gets mechanical tweaks. On the exterior, the D-Max gets new headlamps infused with LED daytime running lights that compliment the newly revised grill. The front and the rear bumpers have also been tweaked to offer it a new appeal.
Under the hood, the vehicle is offered with two engine options – A 3.0-litre diesel engine that generates about 175bhp of power and 380Nm of torque, while the other is a new 1.9-litre diesel engine that generates about 147bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. The 1.9-litre engine comes as a replacement to the older 2.5-litre engine, though it gets a smaller engine, it still comes forth as 10% more powerful engine than the older one.
As for the interiors, the new D-Max gets 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with IsuzuConnect, new smart instrument cluster with a TFT Multi Information Display and the vehicle also gets new rood-mounted speakers. The new vehicle is also stated to slightly lower in weight and more fuel efficient than its older generation.
