      India-bound 2015 Audi Q3 facelift revealed

      German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has revealed the 2015 Audi Q3 facelift ahead of its global debut scheduled for February 2015. The crossover gets several upgrades to its styling and technical bits.

      The vehicle gets updated front fascia which is now equipped with the ‘SingleFrame’ front grille is now edgier, flanked by restyled headlamps comes integrated with Xenon Plus headlamps and LED daytime running lamps. It also features a revised bumper features new wider air dam and new fog lamps. The side profile of the luxury crossover remains unchanged. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to newly designed alloy wheels. At the back, the vehicle gets restyled LED taillights and new bumper. It also gets dynamic turn indicators as an optional feature.

      Inside, the updated Q3 largely resembles the current model; however, the vehicle gets new additions including a pass-through and the power tailgate, luggage compartment package, and an extensible luggage compartment cover and others.

      The company has also tweaked the engine lineup to offer more power output. The TSI and TDI engine series lineup power output rated between 120PS to 220PS. The slightly tweaked 1.4L TSI and 2.0L TDI units now features Audi Ultra badges that offer improved efficiency. The RS Q3’s 2.5-litre 5-cylinder unit is now capable of producing 340PS which is around 30PS more and 450Nm of torque. The Audi Q3 facelift features include Audi drive select, power adjustable front seats, blind spot alert, LED ambient lighting, secondary collision brake assist, etc.
