The launch date of the much awaited Audi S6 in India hasn't been finalised yet even though the festive season, which is seen as the best opportunity to lure buyers is about to be over. On the other hand the company in the UK has come up with its A6, A6 Avant and A7 Black makeover, called as the Black edition.
Audi S6, when launched in the country, is expected to deliver a peak power of around 415 bhp at a peak torque of 540 Nm and can go from 0-100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds. The car is expected to come equipped with a 5.2 litre, V10 40 valve petrol engine that would churn out a maximum power of 415 bhp at 6900 rpm and a maximum torque of 540 Nm at 3000 rpm. The engine is likely to come mated with a 6 speed automatic transmission gearbox.
So far as the looks of S6 are concerned, Audi would certainly not disappoint its buyers. Audi S6 has very classy exteriors and would be available in a wide range of colours which apart from brilliant black, also include Ibis White and Quartz grey metallic, among others. The car would have 19 inch cast aluminium wheels that apart from adding to its looks will also facilitate in driving. Audi S6 is expected to be priced at around Rs. 45,00,000 in the country.
The A6, A6 Avant and A7 launched in the UK comes with a price tag between £35,000 and £57,000. These luxury vehicles have come with significant cosmetic changes on the exterior and most updated interior with a host of comfort features.
The A6 and A7 has Rotor design alloy wheels that has titanium finish. A6 Avant has black finish grille and its window has been surrounded with black roof rails. The interiors have Piano Black trim finish accompanied by black Valcona leather seats and black headlining. The car also houses the upgraded BOSE surround systems for enjoying music in a better way.
With the launch of these brand new cars in the UK, anticipations are high that Audi S6 would soon be launched in India. However, no official statement about its launch has so far been given by the company.
