India Africa Forum Summit to get 55 Toyota Camry Hybrid cars

The 3rd India Africa Forum Summit (IAFS) due to kick-off October 26 to October 29, 2015 shall be attended leaders and diplomats from the African Nations. The company shall provide around 55 Camry Hybrid cars that would serve at the event. Under the hood, the Camry Hybrid gets 2,494cc, 4-cylinder petrol that generates about 158 BHP @ 5,700 rpm and 213 Nm of torque @ 4,500 rpm. While in the electric mode it generates about 141 BHP and 270 Nm of torque. The vehicle would is offered with all modern safety and convenience e features.

Speaking more on the occasion to IANS, N. Raja, senior vice-president and director, sales and marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), India, said, “Last month, during his visit to India, our chairman, Takeshi Uchiyamada, had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting initiated our support to the 3rd India African Summit and we are glad to take this association forward. He further added, “India is oriented towards pollution control and our environment-friendly technology is in sync with this vision of the country. Strong hybrid vehicles can truly have a positive impact only if they are widely used and it is Toyota's Endeavor to educate and encourage the use of strong hybrid vehicles in India.”
