Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has officially tied-up on Wednesday with Indian Management Institute (IMI) for part-time diploma courses for its executives.
Both the organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and now Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) will sponsor its executives every year for the part time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme at IMI as per the company statement.
MSI Managing Executive Officer (Administration) S Y Siddiqui expressed his views that the collaboration will allow their executives to get a taste of world class management education which will in turn benefit their company. He said, "This association with IMI will help our executives to gain world class management education at IMI. I am sure that this will help develop future industry leaders within Maruti Suzuki."
India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti said that the course will be a three-year diploma programme for which the classes will be held in the evening on Friday and Saturday and on Sundays the classes would be conducted in daytime, thus making it convenient for working executives in the Gurgoan, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad regions.
