      IBW's Chai and Pakoda ride commences from Mumbai

      India Bike Week’s chai and pakoda ride commenced in Mumbai on 22nd November, which marked the first event for the 2016 India Bike Week. This event will be conducted on the 19th and the 20th of February 2016. Yesterday’s event saw more than 23 biker clubs participate in this session.IBW Mumbai ride

      The breakfast ride on Sunday got together a majority of the biking enthusiasts from expensive cruisers to Pulsars and Yamahas. The ride commenced from Vashi’s Centre One Mall and it was a 76-km journey that ended at Sheetal Dhaba through the old Mumbai-Pune highway (NH4).

       

      Martin da Costa, CEO of 70 EMG stated, “We’ve always loved organizing the Chai & Pakoda Rides for our Biker brothers and sisters. It’s been fantastic response over the last four years, with this Ride especially showing the world how united India’s Biking fraternity has become. The growing support towards the C&P sessions over the years is just a brilliant testament to the evolving biking culture and spirit in India. We’ve especially enjoyed highlighting the safety issue the through the ride this year. It’s been a fantastic day, and we can’t wait for February, and the biggest India Bike Week at Goa of all time!

       

      On their arrival, the IBW team had organized contests like Best Dressed Rider, Youngest Rider, Coolest Bike, Best Rider Etiquette and finally the Farthest Traveled Rider. Also the highlight to the event will be the “IBW Main Street”, with the 2016 Festival showcasing the first Biker Carnival Parade ever organized in India.
