      Hyundai working on new Elantra, expected to be launched in 2016

      Hyundai has kicked off a storm in the Indian market with the recently launched Elite i20. The stylish hatchback carries a distinctive styling that has not been seen before with its older siblings. The revolutionary carmaker Hyundai this time around is reportedly working on a new face-lifted version of Elantra rechristened as 'Neo Fluidic Elantra'. As of now, the stylish sedan is reportedly undergoing road tests across different locations on the globe.

      Technical specifications for the in-progress Hyundai Elantra is not known for now. But it is believed that the upcoming vehicle shall be based on similar engine configuration and shall be based on the Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy that has been sported by the Hyundai fleet across the globe. Designing aspect is also unknown for now, but sources have hinted that the vehicle may get sporty headlamps with daytime running lights and a redone hexagon-shaped grille with a dash of Chrome element. The front and rear bumper might as well be tweaked to carry the sporty appeal.

      Interiors in the upcoming Hyundai Elantra is expected to be refined further and render an upmarket feel. The suspension might as well be tweaked to deliver a smoother and refined drive quality. The driving dynamics are expected to be improved considerably from the existing fleet. The rear tail-light might as well receive smartly positioned tail-light assembly. Pricing aspect is also unknown for now, but we expect it to be priced in Rs. 8.00 – 10.00 Lakhs segment.
