Hyundai recently revealed the latest Veloster Turbo at the North American International Auto Show 2012. The Hyundai stall at the 11th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo 2012 also displayed the new Veloster. As its actual launch date is not certain, there is still time for people to actually experience how this Hyundai model really is. Hence, the company along with Microsoft’s video game console has brought out a game featuring Veloster to virtually acquaint people with the model and give an idea about the car.
The game is titled Forza Motorsport 4 and it can be downloaded from the Xbox Live website. The Hyundai Veloster Bonus Pack is free of cost which can be directly downloaded on the gaming console. It comprises the production model along with the rally version, which is the 500 hp racing Veloster, having peak torque of 810 Nm. In the past week, Forza Motorsport 4 also came out with the game’s teaser video which gives insight into the outer body, the cabin space and the engine. Honda brought forward the new NSX concept in the PlayStation racer Gran Turismo game.
In reality, the Hyundai Veloster Turbo produces a whopping 198 hp power at 6000 rpm and gives a torque of 195 Nm at 1750-4500 rpm. It is equipped with a 1.6-litre Turbocharged-Gasoline Direct Injection (T-GDI) engine. The Veloster is a sporty three-door coupe; its highlighting features include navigation and rear view camera, Bluetooth, LED headlights, alloy wheels and sunroof.
The Veloster, in order to give better on-road performance, has quicker ratio steering rack and electric power steering that fine-tunes itself depending on the driving conditions. The interiors are luxurious and the comfortable seats are entirely of leather. When launched during summers in United States, Hyundai Veloster will compete with popular models like Honda Civic Si, Volkswagen GTI and Mini Cooper/Clubman S.
