      Hyundai to launch Grand i10 facelift on February 6

      Hyundai Grand i10 facelift test mule has been spotted on numerous instances in recent times thereby hinting on its possible launch sometime soon. Post much wait, Hyundai has announced that it will be launching the new Grand i10 facelift on February 6. The facelift version will get new cosmetic and feature upgrade along with a new slightly bigger 1.2-litre diesel engine. 

      The petrol version of the upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre engine that puts out 81bhp of power and 114Nm of torque. This time around, the diesel variant will get a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine that will replace the older 70bhp producing 1.1-litre engine. The petrol will continue to be offered in manual as well as CVT option, whereas diesel will only come mated to five-speed manual transmission.

      As for features, the new Grand i10 is expected to get a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android compatibility to be offered on the top-spec variant. Moreover, the Grand i10 facelift might also get a climate control system along with revised upholstery for freshness. In terms of safety, the vehicle will get front airbags as standard.

      In terms of design, the new version will get revised bumpers, tweaked headlamps and grille that house fog lamps and DRLs. The sides will not get major upgrades except for new alloy wheels. On the pricing aspect it is believed that the new model will be priced between Rs 4.50 lakh to Rs 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new model will further strengthen it competition with the Maruti’s popular selling hatchback Swift.
