Korean carmaker Hyundai proved the Indian automotive market with the Grand i10 that a budget friendly hatchback can be stylish and reliable at the same time. The Grand i10, latest one from the Hyundai i10 production line has managed to taste success with 1.1 Lakh sales achievement in the country. This time around to take the celebration a step ahead, Hyundai India has launched the the all new Grand i10 limited Edition Sportz.
At the time of Grand i10 Sportz launch in the country, Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP, Marketing and Sales, HMIL was quoted as saying, "Grand has created a new benchmark in the automotive industry by foraying into the list of top five most selling brands in India within the first month of full production. We achieved a milestone with the delivery of 100,000 Hyundai Grand cars within 10 months of its launch making it the fastest car to achieve this landmark in India.” The Grand i10 limited Edition Sportz in Petrol costs about Rs. 5.11 Lakhs, whereas the diesel version is priced at about Rs. 5.98 Lakhs. The limited Edition Hyundai i10 Sportz variant is stated to be based on present generation of Grand i10 and is also expected to perform fairly well in its segment.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Limited Edition Sportz being the latest one from the i10 series, continues to be powered by current generation of 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine, whereas the diesel version is powered by U2 1.1 litre CRDi engine. Apart from features like set of world class diamond cut alloy wheels the Hyundai Grand i10 Limited Edition Sportz gets steering mounted Bluetooth and audio controls. The exterior gets blackout along with body graphics on B-Pillar that is complimented by a stylish rear spoiler. The upholstery sports attractive red and black color combined upholstery to render it with a sporty appeal. The steering wheel sports leather wrapped steering wheel. As per ARAI tests, the diesel version reportedly delivers an impressive efficiency figure of 24kmpl, whereas the petrol variant returns around 18.9 kmpl. The hatchback with fresh set of upgrades is expected to further rake up profits in the upcoming festive season.
