The Hyundai RB concept was revealed at the Moscow Motor Show last month and there were reports that the model will soon hit other emerging markets including India. Now the car has been spied testing on Indian roads and it is expected to be the next Hyundai Verna.
Autocar India reports that the new car has been spotted by its reader Chris Sekar somewhere near Kodaikanal in South India. “The Hyundai RB is a repackaged new Accent with new bumpers and a new front grille, bonnet and headlights. Its design also incorporates Hyundai's 'fluidic sculpture’ design language,” reports Autocar India.
The RB is the latest generation entry level family sedan from Hyundai with a very strong possibility of hitting the Indian shores. The new Hyundai RB sits one or two notches down the pecking order. The bumpers, headlights, grille and bonnet have been redesigned for better appeal. The model is expected to be launched sometime next year. The new car is heavily disguised and looks to be undergoing high altitude trials.
