      Hyundai India's special Roadside Assistance program announced

      Korean carmaker Hyundai has been the only other car brand in India that has managed to give tough competition to Maruti Suzuki's line-up in India. As part of strong bonding with the local market, Hyundai India has recently announced the launch of 24×7 Roadside Assistance (RSA) programme that works in association with Allianz Global Assistance (AGA). The offer would be given to valued Hyundai customers who wish to opt for coverage beyond the standard warranty period.

      Speaking more on the occasion, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President for Sales and Marketing on the RSA Program said, “The Hyundai Road Side Assistance Program was launched in 2010, with the aim of providing emergency road side assistance services round the clock to ensure a hassle free Hyundai’s ownership experience. This year we are extending the policy for all customers aiming to provide them pan India reach with maximum assistance, benefit and services.” Existing customers can avail of this facility at a nominal cost whereas new vehicle owners shall get this service as a default feature with the new vehicle.

      The new Hyundai Roadside Assistance Retail Program offers features like - Breakdown & Accidental Towing, Battery Jump Start, National Coverage, Minor Mechanical/Electrical – On site repair, 24 x 7 dedicated call center (Toll Free Number 1800 102 4645), Flat tyre support, Assistance over phone, Key Lock Out, Emergency Fuel support, Custody services, Taxi coordination and Legal / Medical coordination. Customers can avail of road side assistance by paying Rs 899 for one year coverage, Rs 1499 for two years and Rs 1999 for three years coverage. The eligibility for coverage is up to 6 years starting from the date of delivery of the vehicle to the first customer. The policy reportedly can be purchased in the warranty period too.
