      Hyundai India comes up with a new Head Sales and Marketing, Rakesh Srivastava

      The largest car exporter of the country, Hyundai Motor, has declared Rakesh Srivastava as Head, Sales and Marketing, who was earlier serving as Sales Vice-President for the auto maker. The move was taken by the second largest car maker of the country following the submission of papers by their Sales Director Arvind Saxena, somewhere in the third week of July 2012.

      In an official statement, Hyundai said, Arvind served Hyundai Motor for around seven years and has left the car maker to look for better prevailing opportunities in the market. Industry speculations revealed that the marketing team of Volkswagen has approached Saxena as a substitute of Neeraj Garg, who is anticipated to come down the ladder from being a Director and Member of Board of passenger car section, Volkswagen India. However, no official declaration has been made by any of the parties as of now.

      On the other hand, Srivastava was working for the largest of car maker of the country, Maruti Suzuki and joined the Hyundai’s family in April 2012 with in-depth expertise of more than 24 years. He has also worked with Goodlass Nerolac Paints and GTC Industries.

      With the roping in of Srivastava in Hyundai, who has worked with the passenger car segment leader, analysts believe that the company will use his expertise towards targeting at the top notch position of the Indian auto industry.
